ABOUT GSN

The Gateway Sports Network supports and promotes youth sports through:

The education of coaches, parents and administrators:

• GSN will conduct or participate in educational programs, clinics and seminars for athletes, coaches and parents;
• GSN will maintain a website with information and resources for athletes, coaches and parents;

Conducting special youth sports events and activities:

• GSN will promote increased playing and competition opportunities for youth athletes, including sponsoring leagues and tournaments;
• GSN will facilitate increased access to gyms, fields and training programs;

Promoting public awareness of youth sports opportunities and issues:

• GSN will sponsor and promote increased information about youth sports activities, opportunities, and issues through the Internet and media;
• GSN will sponsor and support seminars and networking programs relating to youth sports;

Supporting youth sports organizations and agencies:

• GSN will increase public awareness of youth sports programs and organizations through facilitating and coordinating support staff and resources and providing financial or in-kind support.
