OVERVIEW:
Gateway Sports
Network, Inc. (GSN) is offering a limited number of intern
opportunities. GSN is a new not for profit organization with
the objective of supporting youth sports in the St. Louis
region. GSN has signed an agreement to utilize the gym on the
campus that was formerly the West County Technical School
located nearby across Highway 40 at 800 Maryville Center Drive.
GSN activities
will include providing gym availability for practice and
tournaments and access to reduced rates for training and
competition opportunities for local youth sports teams and
clubs. The GSN will also coordinate events to provide young
athletes and their coaches access to accomplished athletes and
organizations for inspiration and instruction. Lastly, the GSN
will provide tailored information and resources for young
athletes, parents, youth teams, leagues and their associations.
GSN will
partner with local businesses and organizations to provide
sports related services to athletes and teams at a discounted
rate. Organizations will provide information, resources and
support to support GSN activities and programs.
Income from
GSN activities will be used to support youth sports.
This is an
excellent opportunity for students to work at a sports related
